We have been established as a company since 1898 and have 11 shops around the UK. We have a dedicated UK Sales Mail Order Department that is situated in purpose built offices located within our 5000 sq. foot Warehouse.

We are also regarded as the leading supplier of Music Technology to Educational Establishments throughout the UK and produce a twice-yearly, full colour Education catalogue that is available free of charge to any Bona Fide Educationalist. Please call us on 0870 44 24 610 for a copy.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Amex, Diners & Delta. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet seperately if you wish.

Shipping And Handling

The majority of our orders are shipped by TNT. We charge just £9.99 for most deliveries within the UK mainland, and this also includes Free Insurance UP TO £1000. (For certain small, light items you will find a £3.50 Recorded Delivery option available at the checkout area). If you live outside this area or have any questions then please e-mail us or call us prior to placing your order. We can give you an accurate quotation for carriage by return email. On certain large, heavy items we reserve the right to charge you additional amounts but we will inform you of this prior to despatch to give you the option to cancel. Delivery is by Carrier or Royal Mail Record Delivery and must be signed for by yourself. If you wish an order to be signed for by a neighbour then please let us know on the relevant section on the order form.

We aim to deliver your order right away. The indicators on each stock item will give you an idea of when to expect your goods. Days are classed as "Working Days" for the carriers i.e. Monday - Friday. e.g. If it says 1-2 Days and you order on a Friday, you should expect the goods to be delivered on Tues/Weds. Please email us for specific delivery dates.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free. This will be refunded upon acceptance of order. Please note that all website prices INCLUDE VAT.

Guarantee

All New & Ex-Demo goods are supplied with a full 12 months Warranty from us. In addition, certain manufacturers also offer additional extended warranties. All 2nd Hand goods are covered by a 3 month Warranty.

Returns Policy

Please note that this is our online refund policy. Please refer directly to our stores for our in-store policy. They will be happy to show it to you.

For Online Purchases:

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it in its original condition within 15 days, we'll gladly exchange it, offer you a different product of equal value, or give you a full refund. This refund will be completed within 30 days of receipt of the goods and usually much sooner!. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

If within the first 2 months of your new purchase, the product should fail for any reason, we will replace it with a brand new one, carriage paid! Ex-Demo equipment and 2nd hand equipment is not covered by this policy.

In the case of goods that fail after 2 months or ex-demo & 2nd Hand goods that fail within the warranty period we ask that you return the goods to us by an insured method. We will repair them free of charge and return them to you by an insured delivery method. Before returning any equipment you must contact our Sales Office on 0870 44 24 615 for a Returns Number.

Deliveries

The standard UK Mainland delivery charge for each product is indicated in the grey box towards the right hand side of the product page. Orders from outside the UK Mainland will be subject to further delivery charges which will vary depending on the location. To obtain a quote for delivery outside the UK Mainland please email customer.service@dawsons.co.uk and our dedicated team will be more than happy to help.

Unfortunately, for security reasons, we are only able to deliver to the address at which your debit or credit card is registered. We understand that this can be inconvenient for some customers so we do allow just one delivery a week to an alternative address, provided that the value of the order does not exceed £50.
