Nord

The Nord brand is part of Swedish company, Clavia. Established in 1983 in Stockholm, the company’s first product was the Digital Percussion Plate, an electronic drum pad that replayed sampled sounds with great dynamics and feel. These were released under the ddrum brand name. It wasn’t until 1995, however, that the Nord name first appeared, on the World’s first virtual analogue synthesiser, the Nord Lead.

Nord has established itself as a favourite brand of professional musicians across the World, delivering products with exceptional performance and reliability. The range now includes stage pianos, such as the Nord Piano and Nord Stage, along with organ and electric piano simulations, such as the ‘C’ series and Electro, plus synthesisers, the Lead and the Wave, along with the newly announced Nord Drum module.
