Peavey

Founded in the late ‘50s by Hartley Peavey as an electronics company, Peavey very quickly expanded out its initial HQ in Hartley’s basement. Initially manufacturing amplifiers, it now builds everything from guitars and basses, to PA, to iPhone peripherals, drums and even software. Throughout its long history, the company has produced several iconic products, not least of which, the Peavey 5150 amplifier. Later renamed as the 6505, this high gain amplifier quickly became a favourite of rock guitarists.

Nowadays, the company is as likely to garner praise for iPhone devices such as the Ampkit Link, as it is from its amplifiers. The brand’s enduring popularity is built on its diverse range of high quality products.
