Newly designed heads
The Crimson Mesh includes newly designed heads for both the snare drums and toms that deliver a feel and expression that advanced drummers have come to expect from a pro-level drum kit. An 8-inch kick, 12-inch dual-zone snare, two 8-inch dual-zone rack toms and a 10-inch dual-zone floor tom work together to translate every nuance of your playing into accurate digital media.
The Alesis Crimson Mesh also includes a 12-inch hi-hat with pedal, 12-inch crash with choke and 14-inch three-zone ride so that your cymbal work will not be overlooked to. Amazing crashes, crescendo's and smooth ride will all be delivered with natural flair.
The brain of the Alesis Crimson is loaded with some of the most powerful content to date. 50 factory ready drum kits and 20 user drum kits comprising of over 600 painstakingly sampled sounds are at your mercy. There's something for every taste in here from thunderous rock kits, tight and dark studio kits, pumping EDM kits and everything in-between.
To keep you on your toes, the Crimson Mesh also utilises a built-in metronome and 1/8-inch input for playing along with your mobile device, making for an excellent practice tool. A sequencer allows you to capture your performance for playback at any time using 5 internal song slots or 99 via any USB memory stick.
Other connectivity includes 1/4 inch stereo mix output, a headphone connector and USB MIDI so that you can trigger any external gear or record directly into any DAW of your choice.

I thought I would have to compromise on response and the quality of sounds but this simply isn't the case. The kit itself feels solid as a rock and gives a really decent response.
The sounds are awesome! I use the Crimson through headphones and PA and it never lets me down. There's some great stuff for practice too that makes it more fun than on my acoustic kit.
Definitely check this kit out, can't recommend it enough.
