The interface gives you connectivity for monitors, mics and instruments. Hook up to your computer, loaded with your music production software, and your ready to record, edit and mix with sonic clarity.
Easy to use and small enough to carry around with you, yet seriously robust you might think that Avid would have made some cutbacks somewhere along the line, reducing sound quality to cater for these features, but you’d be wrong… and then some. The Avid Mbox Mini USB Audio Interface offers low latency monitoring, pro-grade converters, premium analog signal path and advanced recording technology. All the essential connections are in place with 2 x 2 simultaneous channels of I/O, an XLR/line combo input (with pro-grade preamp and phantom power, for condenser microphones), 2 x ¼” instrument inputs (one DI, one line-level/DI), 2 x balanced 1/4" monitor outputs and a stereo 1/4" headphone output.
The Avid Mbox Mini USB Audio Interface comes highly recommended for use with Pro Tools but still offers amazing performance with any Core Audio- or ASIO-compatible software, such as Logic, Cubase, Record, Reason, Live, Sonar, Digital Performer, Nuendo, Fruity Loops, and more.
