Blackstar HT-5TH Limited Edition Combo Amplifier

In celebration of 5 years of Blackstar Amplification the company have brought out a limited edition of its award winning HT-5R, in the newly formed Blackstar HT-5TH Limited Edition.

In something of a new direction for Blackstar Amplification the Blackstar HT-5TH Limited Edition gives off a vintage chic cosmetic with its cream covering, anniversary weave fret cloth and limited edition front panel. The inside is all HT-5R, however, with the same patented features that so many guitarists have fallen for. This version is very limited, with just 2,500 on offer worldwide and each coming with a unique certificate.

What’s in it?

Packing 5 watts of power, two 10” Celestion speakers and 1xECC83 & 1x12BH7 valves the Blackstar HT-5TH Combo is the perfect amplifier for both the studio and for practice. It’s amazing tone and features are taken from Blackstar’s own range of award winning HT pedals and it also offers two channels which are footswitchable (footswitch comes supplied).

ISF

With its patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) Control and the amp’s Bass, Middle and Treble controls the Blackstar Limited Edition HT-5TH gives sound ranging from USA to UK, and everything that lies between. This infinite adjustment of the amps tonal response between 1x12 or 4x12 emulated speaker voices allows you to play the sound in your head through your amp.

Two Channels

The Blackstar HT-5TH Limited Edition Combo Amplifier offers two footswitchable channels. In conjunction with the Gain control the Clean channel can give a clean to crunching tone, while the Overdrive offers clean, to breakup, to fully distorted lead.

Alongside these tonal controls the Blackstar HT 5TH Limited Edition also features a Reverb control.

Connections

In addition to the footswitch and effect loop inputs the Blackstar HT-5TH Limited Edition also offers a line input for playback from an external audio source, such as an MP3 player, for you to jam along to as a backing track.

The Blackstar HT5TH Limited Edition offers up a number of options for hooking up to external cabinets, to really make it scream. The outputs available are: '1x16 Ohm', '1x8 Ohm or 2x16 Ohm'. With these options you can connect a 16-Ohm cab, an 8-Ohm cab, two 16-Ohm cabs or a 16-Ohm cab plus the internal loudspeaker of the Blackstar HT-5TH Combo Amp.
