The Apogee MiC is the latest USB recording device to benefit from Apogee ‘s exceptional digital audio technology. This USB microphone can be used with Mac, iPad or iPhone, and features the Apogee audio ‘DNA’ that should ensure that it sounds a million dollars (whilst costing less than £200…).

Ultra compact and versatile

The Apogee MiC has a similar visual style to the Apogee One and Apogee Jam. The MiC is constructed from metal, and finished in black with contrasting brushed metal detail. It is clear from the size of the unit that Apogee envisages this being a portable recording solution. Despite the fact that this microphone is just a little bigger than a chocolate bar, it features a studio quality, cardioid condenser mic capsule. Designed to be versatile, the Apogee MiC is ideal for capturing vocals, guitars, pianos and more, quickly and conveniently.

Beneath the MiC ‘s metal shell, Apogee has employed its trademark skill for digital audio. Featuring PureDIGITAL audio technology, this is a USB mic that will put most similar devices to shame in terms of audio quality.

For added convenience when recording, the Apogee MiC features an input level control on the side of the device. An LED of the front of the unit glows blue when the unit is connected but not ready, green when it is connected and ready to go, and red when it is overloaded due to an input level that is too high. Simple.
