Built in Aperture Condenser Microphone

The Apogee One is a USB audio interface designed to provide the key features that a musician or producer recording on the road would need, but with incredible Apogee audio quality. The unit is slightly bigger than an iPhone, and is powered via the USB connection. Very unusually for an interface of this type, the One features a built in condenser microphone. Designed with technology dubbed Tuned Aperture Microphone technology, this provides a means to quickly capture ideas, interviews or other audio without the need for any equipment other than an Apple Mac.

Alongside the built-in microphone, the Apogee One features a superb microphone pre-amp and instrument input, via the included breakout cable. The microphone pre-amp is based on the technology featured in the original Apogee Duet, and provides incredible detail and transparency. A multi-function control knob allows all input and output levels to be accessed and adjusted quickly and easily.
