Bingley Music Live 2012 promises a weekend of ‘big hearted’ festival larks, with a stunning line-up…
Remarkably, Yorkshire’s Bingley Music Live celebrates its 21st birthday this year. The first event took place in 1991, and since then, the festival has transformed, with the pop-centric line-up of earlier years now a far more diverse mix; big hitting acts from the worlds of pop, dance, and rock taking centre stage.
Whilst the same big festivals tend to get the majority of the press ‘column-inches’, those that are a bit more ‘indie’ tend to be a far more enjoyable experience. Though, at the rate that Bingley Music Live is expanding, it is now some way from a small indie affair, the organisers have done a great job of retaining everything that is great about a smaller event, but with a first class line-up of artists, and great facilities.
This year, the line-up is stronger than ever, making the Weekender passes a purchase of extraordinary value. As mentioned previously, tickets for Bingley Music Live are frankly, ludicrously low in price. A full Weekender ticket is just £45 + booking fee, with single day passes also available, starting at £17.50 for a pass for Friday.
