Dawsons Liverpool and a whole host of celebs help radio City’s Cash For Kids charity
We like to think we try to do our bit for charity, here at Dawsons, and the guys at Dawsons Liverpool are no exception in this regard. Radio City’s charity, Cash for Kids, is a cause that the Liverpool team feel is a very worthy one. The charity aims to raise money for disabled of disadvantaged kids in Liverpool and the surrounding area. All money raised is spent on those aged 18 or younger, within this area.
The aimed is to improve the lives of those who live in poverty, or have physical or mental disabilities within the radio station’s transmission area.
Signed drum kit donated by Dawsons
Previously, Dawsons Liverpool donated a Farida guitar, which was signed by guests on the station, then auctioned, raising £1100 for the charity. This year, the guys donated a Mirage Drum Kit, which has now been signed by artists who performed at the Radio City Live show, last week.
The line-up included Alexandra Burke, One Direction, Tulisa, Little Mix, Labrinth, Taio Cruz and many other chart topping acts. All added their moniker to the drum-kit, which is set for auction later this year. On top of this, the guys at Radio City popped into the shop to ask for even more drum skins, as they had even more celebs and artists, eager to add a signature and raise even more for Cash for kids. Well, who could turn down a request like that?
The drum-kit should be a great auction prize when it eventually goes under the hammer. We haven’t got the full details of when this will be, but stay posted for more info…
