Dawsons Liverpool was put under the microscope by a Mystery Shop, and won a ‘Highly Commended’ award!

It’s been a busy year for Dawsons Liverpool. Not only has it moved from its well loved location on Ranelagh Street to a huge, shiny new store on Williamson Street, and expanded its range of products massively, but its managed to scoop an award from the Liverpool City Central BID Mystery Shop awards!

At an awards ceremony last night, Store manager Kingsley Rich and Assistant Store Manager Gareth Woodall received an award for ‘Highly Commended National Retailer’.

Excellent Customer Service

The purpose of the Mystery Shop Awards is to encourage retailers in the city centre to strive for, and maintain the highest standards of customer service. North West Company, Storecheckers, carried out the surveys.

At Dawsons, customer satisfaction is our number 1 priority. The nature of the items we sell can be a little intimidating to some, so it’s of paramount importance to us that customers are put at ease, and get all of the assistance they need when visiting one of our stores.

Of course, this is its own reward, but it is very nice to be recognised for our efforts, as I’m sure the team at Liverpool (and the Chester team who were also recently commended) will testify.

Gareth and Kingsley are pictured here receiving their award from none other than comedian, writer and actor, Neil Fitzmaurice, perhaps best known for his role as unforgettable DJ Ray Von in Phoenix Nights.

If you’d like to see why Dawsons Liverpool won the Mystery Shopper’s plaudits, why not visit the huge new store?
