There is an age old phrase about running before you can walk, and never is truer than when applied to learning a musical instrument. Take the guitarist in the band above, for instance (‘no, really- take him!’ say the rest of the band). He really isn’t playing well, and the band (and possibly audience…) aren’t enjoying the performance. Ask yourself, however, how much can he be enjoying it? Whilst the range of different instruments taught at Dawsons Music Schools varies, all offer Guitar and Keyboard lessons, with some offering singing lessons, bass lessons and even Ukulele lessons. At our music schools, we strive to maintain the highest of teaching standards. The Rockschool syllabus is followed at many of our schools for Guitars, Bass and Drums, with our Warrington music school a designated Rockschool test centre.
