The re-fit at Dawsons Reading marches on, and its guitar walls are now ‘none more black’
The refit at Dawsons Reading is continuing at pace, and the guitar wall are almost finished. Going from a shiny silver, to an altogether darker feel, it all looks a lot nicer, and a bit more ‘rock’. The finish could be described as ‘none more black’, perhaps. But, as nice as the walls are, it’s the guitars that hang from them that are the important ingredient.
In this regard, you may have noticed that now, there are even more guitar walls in front of the raised walkway. This is to be the new acoustic guitar area, a land of tonewoods, purfling and bracing, that smells of lacquer, carnuba wax and is generally inhabited by guitarists cooing at abalone inlays, and solid rosewood backs. And soon, it will be finished!
There are many, many, many more exciting developments to come- this is just the first step to new, brighter (and also slightly darker in the case of the guitar walls…) new Dawsons store.
