The Dawsons Reading Refit continues, with an all-new guitar demo booth
The Dawsons Reading refit is now in its third week, and things are really beginning to take shape… The freshly extended mezzanine walkway has a brand-new addition that helps to make those critical, ‘should I go for guitar A or guitar B?’ type decisions a little bit easier. Yes, appearing out of the ether, like a guitar playing, time travellers’ best friend is an all-new demo booth.
I’ve you’ve ever visited one of our stores on a Saturday afternoon, you’ll appreciate that the noise levels can sometimes be pretty high, This can be a bit of an obstacle when trying to decide which guitar is going be ‘the one’, and when you’re committing your hard earned readies to own it, you have to be sure.
The demo room allows a little bit of seclusion from the ambient noise of the shop floor, where you can spend some quality time with the guitars that you wish to try, or compare before making an informed choice.
This musical ‘Tardis’ should be ready for action very soon at Dawsons Reading, and like the Time lord’s chosen mode of transport, it is bigger on the inside than it seems from the outside (not quite as big as the Tardis, however, but it does house two very pleased looking guitarists in the form of Manager Laurence, and product specialist Rich, with plenty of room to spare…)
Elsewhere in the shop, things are also changing drastically. What was once the tech area has now been, well, gutted. And, as Laurence revealed to Dawsons Facebook followers, this area is set to be an all new Yamaha Homeworld, packed with Yamaha’s keyboards and pianos.
There are even more new additions that we haven’t even touched upon yet, coming soon as part of the big, Dawsons Reading Refit so stay tuned for new developments …
