The Dawsons Reading refit is continuing at pace, and things are really taking shape…
The Dawsons Reading refit is rolling on at some speed, and though there are areas of the shop that are well and truly ‘under-construction’, the finished article is starting to appear through the mist… If you missed previous posts, the huge store now has two, all-new demo rooms, guitar walls that are now finished in very sexy black, an all new acoustic guitar area, a Yamaha Homeworld piano area and #Five, Go-old Rings! # Oops, sorry- wrong time of year…
Since the last post, many new and exciting things have started to appear. Acoustic world has continued to expand, with the lovely new display stand above (obviously not as exciting as what will eventually hang on it, however). Elsewhere, more dramatic changes appear to be happening…
I bet that you look good on the dance floor
Here we have a shot of the new Reading breakdance area, waiting to be covered in fresh lino. If only there was a DJ booth, or some sort of DJ gear to the party rockin’ … Oh, okay, this is new floor of the soon to be refreshed and revamped, huge Roland Planet. So, expect even more Roland and Boss goodies, and all new displays and demo areas very soon.
Here, we have some sort of display stand, awaiting some sort of new gear for demo purposes. Despite the workmen’s tee-shirts bearing the name ‘Mindbomb’, I can assure you that this isn’t some sort of ‘Inception’ style sleep booth, nor any sort of thought control station. What could it be, I wonder? Hmmm… there’s some letters at the bottom, I think- ‘K’, ‘O’, ‘R’. Cryptic stuff, eh… 
There is still a huge amount of development to come, and we haven’t even got onto the new gear that will fill the store. Watch this space for updates…
