Frank Turner and Two Door Cinema Club ‘s Sam Halliday rock T in The Park with new Farida Artist Designed Guitars
It is a testament to just how great the Farida Artist Designed instruments are that the artists involved are delivering incredible performances on the World’s biggest stages with them regularly. At this weekend’s T In The Park festival, both Frank Turner and Two Door Cinema Club’s Sam Halliday playing their respective Farida Artist Designed models. And great they sounded, too…
The Farida Artist Designed JT-60 2DCC Sam Halliday Signature
The Two Door Cinema Club juggernaut shows no signs of slowing, despite an astonishing 12 months for the band. This weekend, the band cemented their reputation as one of the best live acts to be seen anywhere right now, with an incendiary performance on the Radio One- NME stage at T In The Park. The band tore through an enviable back-catalogue of hits, ahead of the launch of new album ‘Beacon’ in September. The performance was undoubtedly a highlight of the weekend, and I’m sure the crowd forgot the (somewhat torrential) weather conditions of the festival…
It was also very nice to see that Two Door Cinema Club ‘s guitarist Sam Halliday is still very attached to his new Farida JT-60 2DCC model. The guitar was designed by Sam and the master luthiers at Farida and continues the new ‘Artist Designed’ Series. The result is a ‘no-compromise’ instrument. Currently, Sam is playing the finished prototype- the only one in existence. Very shortly, however, production will start on a limited run of these guitars, with only 25 numbered models due to be produced. More detailed specification can be found here.
In the meantime, here’s Two Door Cinema Club doing what they do best. If you would like to register your interest in the Farida JT-60 2DCC, call our stores or customer service team (01925 582420).
Farida Artist Designed J-FT Frank Turner Signature Acoustic Guitar
Frank Turner, similarly, has had an incredible twelve months, which has included a critically acclaimed new album, a Wembly Arena performance and huge, international tour. He took to the stage with his Farida Artist Designed J-FT, and put in the sort of performance that he is famed for. His Farida is a stunning, Jumbo model, with a hard maple neck. He played the guitar exclusively for the acoustic set at his rece4nt Wembley gig, and it has been a major part of his live shows since he received the prototype model.
Sadly, all 25 units of this model are now sold. However, if you would like to own one of these wonderful guitars, this month we have a competition to win one. Full details of the competition can be found here.
As a demonstration of the beautiful instrument that could be yours, here’s Frank Turner himself at T In The Park.
