Beginner Ukulele Lessons at Dawsons Liverpool
The ukulele is a traditional Hawaiian four-stringed instrument very similar to the guitar, though easier to play, and currently very popular.
If you are interested in learning to play the ukulele, Fred Arnell is now offering beginner group lessons on a Thursday evening from September.
Lessons are £10 for 45 minutes and are paid in advance on a monthly basis.

About the Teacher
Fred Arnell Cert. Ed.
Lessons at Dawsons Liverpool are taught by Fred Arnell, who has eighteen years experience as an electric guitar teacher. In addition to Dawsons, Fred works as a peripatetic guitar teacher in schools based in Wirral and Cheshire and can proudly boast that several students have gone on to careers in Music. He has a strong interest in music technology, plays regularly in various bands and performs in gigs in and around the North West. Fred also freelances for musical productions as well as writing his own arrangements.

Your free trial ukulele lesson at Liverpool will last approximately 30-45 minutes and gives a taster of the course. We will also explain the cost of the lessons and advise of available lesson times.
Free Trial Lessons are open to anyone (providing they are above the minimum age) so it really is NEVER too late to learn. All of our teachers at Liverpool have adult classes and in some cases operate mixed age classes so we really do have something for everyone.
Where a prospective student has previous experience the ukulele teacher may offer a free one-to-one consultation instead, with a view to putting the student into an already existing class.
Please note that free trial lessons take place when there are enough students to fill a group, this may mean your details being kept on a waiting list. Some of our music schools only offer lessons during term-time, where this is the case FTLs are held in term-time.
Free taster lessons are available to those who are not already existing students of Dawsons Music School in Liverpool. A taster lesson will be held by arrangement with the teacher providing the student is above the minimum age for the relevant course.
