ROLE: Marketplace Manager
REPORTS TO: Head of Ecommerce
LOCATION: Warrington HO

We are looking for a Marketplace Manager to join our Online Team based in Warrington, Cheshire.

Job Purpose

Deliver online sales, margin and profitability targets for Ebay, Amazon and other online marketplaces.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain accurate product listings on eBay, Amazon, and other online marketplaces
  • Ensure that product listings are correctly categorised, include all required data, and are optimised for channel search
  • Ensure that channel product descriptions use unique content only
  • Work with the Ecommerce team to identify feed management tools to optimise performance across all comparison channels
  • Work with the Buying and Purchasing team to identify and add new product listings and to ensure continued stock replenishment across key lines
  • Identify areas of opportunities in terms of promotions and product sourcing
  • Work with the Ecommerce team to co-ordinate follow up communications via email
  • Liaise with channel account managers to optimise account performance
  • Investigate and review fulfilment services and provide suggestions on how to improve
  • Carry out regular competitor analysis to ensure price and range competitiveness
  • Manage and maintain seller ratings across all marketplaces
  • Provide regular reporting to senior managers
  • Keep up to date with the latest ecommerce developments

Key Skills

  • In-depth understanding of online marketplaces
  • Familiarity with all associated marketplace tools and interfaces
  • Solid understanding of feed management
  • Highly commercial, focus on sales, results and customers
  • Focussed attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment
  • Able to handle multiple priorities well
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of growing and managing marketplace channels
  • Solid budgetary & P&L experience
  • Musical instruments knowledge advantageous but not essential
