Line 6 has just released two brand new wireless microphone packages, which utilise Line 6′s most advanced 24-bit digital wireless technology to date. The biggest achievement of the XD V70 range is the almost negligible signal compression, offering approximately twice the dynamic range of compandor-based analogue wireless systems, while maintaining the frequency range of the original signal (10 Hz – 20 kHz).
The XD-V70 also employs a number of techniques to protect the audio signal from other RF interference giving unparalleled performance, even in adverse conditions. To top it all off, there are no wireless broadcast licences to worry about anywhere in the world!
The Line 6 XD V70 kit contains an XD wireless receiver unit (rackmountable) with a hand-held microphone. The hand-held microphone offers instant access to on-board modelling technology (for which Line 6 are best known) replicating 6 of the industry leading mics as well as a removable capsule with alternative capsules available from Shure, Heil Sound and Audix.
The Line 6 XD V70L comes with the XD receiver unit, a wireless belt-pack and lavalier microphone for situations where a hand-held microphone is impractical or cannot be used. The belt-pack can be used with other microphones too and offers the same dynamic, pristine wireless signal quality of the V70.
