Dawsons Stockport ‘s ever-popular open mic night at Da Vinci’s takes place again on Thursday 26th January
The open mic night organised by Dawsons Stockport, in association with the lovely folk at Da Vinci’s coffee house and eatery, has steadily grown to be a popular monthly fixture. There is a lot to be said for a good open mic night. They can provide an excellent opportunity to take your first steps as a performer, to showcase or ‘test out’ new material, or just to meet and socialise with like-minded musicians. From an audience’s perspective, you get a night of entertainment from a selection of musicians, which could, potentially, be of any style on any instrument – it all depends on who’s there on the night.
The open mic night organised by Dawsons Stockport has a great venue for this sort of event, taking place in Da Vinci’s coffee house and eatery. As you may have gathered from the name, this is a coffee house with an authentically Italian flavour. Serving superb coffee and alcoholic drinks, alongside a menu of excellent Italian fare, there are few better places to sit and enjoy some great music.
The open mic night takes place on the last Thursday of every month at Da Vinci’s, 25 St Petersgate. The next to take place will be on the 26th January, with things due to kick off around 7.30pm.
