The only Roland SPD-SX in the country will be at our Reading Store this Sunday!
This Sunday (23rd October) sees our Reading store host a Roland V-Drum day, and demonstrator Ben Stone will be bringing the only Roland SPD-SX in the country! Roland have assured us that, until stock arrives in the country later this month, this is the only unit in the UK. If you haven’t read about the SPS-SX yet, let me fill you in a little… An update to the very popular SPD-S sampling pad, the SPD-SX is a performance pad designed to trigger and manipulate samples, whether that is in the studio or for a live performance. With nine velocity sensitive pads, loop functions, 3 built in effects units, trigger inputs and the ability to record up to 360 minutes of audio, this is a sampler that will cope with any type of drumming situation, whether it requires simple ‘one shot’ samples, long atmospherics or loops. As previously mentioned, the Roland SPD-SX will be put through its paces by top session drummer and Roland demonstrator, Ben Stone. Ben will be in store from 11.30 until 4.30, on hand to demonstrate Roland’s superb range of V-Drums and percussion products. Ben is one of the country’s leading authorities on these products, and a truly astonishing drummer.
