Get hands-on with the new Roland V-Drum kits at in-store events at Dawsons
The new Roland V-Drum kits are possibly the biggest update the range has had since its launch in 1997. With all models, with the exception of the HD-3 now featuring SuperNATURAL sound technology, they have never sounded or played more naturally. And, with a range of different configurations, (there are two pad configurations of the TD-11, TD-15 and TD-30) there are next generation kits for a wide range of budgets.
To celebrate the launch, Dawsons has a number of events taking place in stores to allow attendees to see just how great these new kits are…
The Roland V-Drum Tour with Craig Blundell, at Dawsons Manchester
At our Manchester store on the 14th of June, we have the absurdly talented Craig Blundell around during the day, and providing a clinic in the evening. In the daytime, Craig will be on-hand to guide you around the new V-Drum range (which he was involved in the development of, incidentally), and also running a ‘drum-battle’ for anyone who would like to enter, via Roland’s excellent free software, Friend Jam.
The evening will see Craig sharing his copious skills and knowledge in the form of a more traditional clinic. As anyone who has attended one of Craig’s clinics will attest, these are very valuable both in terms of technique and technical demos. Craig is almost as passionate about his involvement with Roland V-Drums as he is about drumming itself. Those who attend expect to pick up some invaluable tips and tricks from this in-demand session player.
Every Drum Kit You’ve Ever wanted – Roland Planet V-Drum event
On Saturday the 16th June, in our Roland Planet Stores (Reading, Manchester and Liverpool) we have a Roland V-Drum workshop. Members of staff who are intimately acquainted with these stunning new kits will be on-hand to guide, demonstrate and answer any questions you may have about them.
The calendar is as follows:
- Thursday 14th June – The Roland V-Drum Tour with Craig Blundell, at Dawsons Manchester. Friend-Jam battle during shop hours, evening clinic starting at 7pm. Please call to book a place at the evening clinic)
- Saturday 16th June – Every Drum Kit You’ve Ever wanted, Roland Planet V-Drum event – V-Drum workshop at one of our Roland Planet stores (Reading, Liverpool, Manchester- please call to book a place). Get the low-down on the new V-Drum range from our knowledgeable product specialists.
