Dawsons Piano Lessons
Dawsons Music School offers a fun and educational environment for both children and adults to begin, continue, or return to playing the piano. Our students learn to play music for their enjoyment, and the enjoyment of others, including family and friends!
As well as being relaxing and entertaining, learning the piano develops memory skills, pattern recognition and encourages critical awareness as you listen and respond to music. At Dawsons we believe that music is an individual learning process; rather than learning from pre-recorded lesson tracks, your teacher will help you develop your individual needs. We also believe that learning music can be affordable: our weekly group lessons cost only £12.50 for one hour.
Lessons involve learning to play in a variety of musical styles, improving music reading skills (sight-reading), developing technical ability (scales and exercises), and training our ears to respond to music effectively (aural training). We encourage students to progress through ABRSM exams therefore gaining musical qualifications (grades 1-8), and to play fun pieces for their enjoyment.
Our group lessons provide a friendly and focused learning environment which suit the individual levels of our students. Classes are also grouped according to age: children, teenagers, and adults. You will have the opportunity to play individually and in a group, therefore developing both solo and group playing (ensemble) skills.
If you are interested in learning the piano, please contact Dawsons Music for a free trial lesson. We look forward to hearing from you!

Book Your Free Trial Piano Lesson at Dawsons Warrington
Submit your details above and someone will contact you within 2-3 working days to arrange your free trial piano lesson.
Your free trial piano lesson at our Warrington store will last approximately 30-45 minutes and gives a taster of the course. We will also explain the cost of the lessons and advise of available lesson times.
Free Trial Lessons (FTL) are open to anyone (providing they are above the minimum age) so it really is NEVER too late to learn. All of our Warrington piano teachers have adult classes and in some cases operate mixed age classes so we really do have something for everyone.
Where a prospective student has previous experience the piano teacher may offer a free one-to-one consultation instead of a FTL, with a view to putting the student into an already existing piano class.
Please note that free trial piano lessons at Warrington take place when there are enough students to fill a group, this may mean your details being kept on a waiting list until the next available FTL. Some of our music schools only offer lessons during term-time, where this is the case FTLs are held in term-time.
Free taster piano lessons are available to those who are not already existing students of Dawsons Music School at Warrington. A taster piano lesson will be held by arrangement with the teacher providing the student is above the minimum age for the relevant course.
