Piano Lessons for ages 6+
We have a brand new state-of-the-art Piano studio with brand new Pianos. These are full-size, weighted electric pianos. We believe that a person who can play the piano is a more educated, able and well-rounded musician. As a piano player you will have the skills to play with other musicians and have the option and ability to play in many various styles of music, relying on your own abilities instead of backing tracks and automated rhythms. There will be a focus on strengthening of the fingers, use of the left hand, reading sheet music and theory (useful for arranging, composing and songwriting), as well as continuing to learn songs and arranging.
Piano Mate – Piano Lessons for ages 6+
Piano Mate is the ideal course for those who want to learn the piano in a fun and imaginative atmosphere. Working in groups, pupils have the additional advantage of being able to play by ear as well as reading music in a more formal and traditional way as lessons progress. This course is for both children (age 6 and above) and adults. It attracts many adults who used to learn and want to come back to study in a more informal, stress-free environment. As well as reading and playing music the course also focuses on improvisation, accompaniment and arranging music. Exams are optional but follow a fully accredited Trinity College exam syllabus and will take the student from beginner to Grade 8 standard.

Warrington Piano Teacher
Manny Vass
Hello! My name is Emmanuel (Manny), and I am the piano teacher at Dawsons Music store in Warrington. I am very much looking forward to meeting you all, but in the meantime please allow me to tell you a little bit about my background:
I grew up in Yorkshire and studied as a double scholarship student at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester. During my studies, I performed for the Russian Ambassador and Lord Levy at Kensington Palace Gardens, appeared on Look North BBC news and performed the Schumann Piano Concerto with the Scarborough Symphony Orchestra. Since graduating, I have given a recital for the French ambassador, broadcast live on BBC radio and appeared alongside The Manfreds and Lulu to perform for the Prince of Monaco.
I was also Yamaha’s “Unsigned Artist of the Month” for Jan-Feb 2012, and I have recently made my debut at Manchester’s internationally prestigious Bridgewater Hall. Alongside my solo career, I have played keyboards in rock/pop tribute bands and in jazz/swing bands. I am also a composer, and I currently work for a Bollywood film company as a transcriber, copyist and arranger.
I also have a real passion for teaching, and have been teaching privately and giving performance workshops for almost a decade. I received my Certificate of Teaching from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in July 2011, and I have also taught piano in primary schools and residential care homes.

Book Your Free Trial Piano Lesson at Dawsons Warrington
Submit your details above and someone will contact you within 2-3 working days to arrange your free trial piano lesson.
Your free trial piano lesson at our Warrington store will last approximately 30-45 minutes and gives a taster of the course. We will also explain the cost of the lessons and advise of available lesson times.
Free Trial Lessons (FTL) are open to anyone (providing they are above the minimum age) so it really is NEVER too late to learn. All of our Warrington piano teachers have adult classes and in some cases operate mixed age classes so we really do have something for everyone.
Where a prospective student has previous experience the piano teacher may offer a free one-to-one consultation instead of a FTL, with a view to putting the student into an already existing piano class.
Please note that free trial piano lessons at Warrington take place when there are enough students to fill a group, this may mean your details being kept on a waiting list until the next available FTL. Some of our music schools only offer lessons during term-time, where this is the case FTLs are held in term-time.
Free taster piano lessons are available to those who are not already existing students of Dawsons Music School at Warrington. A taster piano lesson will be held by arrangement with the teacher providing the student is above the minimum age for the relevant course.
