The Yamaha NP11 is sleek and elegant 61-note keyboard, offering AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) stereo sampling to deliver Yamaha’s renowned sound quality. Slim and compact, the NP11 is also lightweight (4.5 kg) making it easily transportable and truly portable (mains or 6 AA batteries, LR6 or equivalent). The model’s inbuilt speakers, one on either end of the keyboard, express a 32-note polyphony. The NP11 also features a 10-song library, allowing you to listen to a wide range of musical styles and genres.
The NP11 offers a choice of 10 great-sounding voices, and allows you to overlay one voice with another in the dual/layer mode. 4 reverb settings means that you can adjust the room acoustic to suite your preference, all at the touch of a button. The NP11 comes with a number of functions, including metronome, tempo range, transpose, and tuning; all essential for accompanying band members, or playing along to music tracks of your choice.
The NP11 has a headphone socket, which is great when volume considerations are required in the home, or simply when you need to reduce outside noise. An optional sustain pedal is recommended, as this will enhance your expressiveness and more accurately replicate the sound of a real piano. The NP11 has 2 x 12 cm x 6 cm speakers, powered by 2. x 2.5W amplifiers and comes with MIDI in/out, an impressive battery life of 6+ hours, and utilises Yamaha’s innovate auto power-off mode, to save energy and conserve battery life.
