The Innovative Yamaha THR5 and Yamaha THR10 Guitar Amps are now in stock!
The Yamaha THR5 and Yamaha THR10 guitar amps attracted a sizable amount of interest upon their announcement a short while ago. Whilst Yamaha are not a company generally associated with guitar amps, these two stunning practice amps could well change that. With the appearance of a vintage amp head, you’d be forgiven for thinking that these were actually reissues of vintage guitar amps. The retro look conceals lots of lovely technology, however.
Designed around Yamaha’s own VCM amp modelling technology, the THR5 and THR10 accurately recreate the dynamics and response of classic valve amps. Also featuring onboard effects and a chromatic tuner, both amps are very well equipped. In terms of speaker technology, however, the Yamaha THR range sets itself apart. Both the THR5 and THR10 feature stereo speakers, which incorporate Yamaha’s extended stereo technology. This gives the illusion of sound being played back from a much larger source.
Adding to the armoury of technology, the Yamaha THR5 and Yamaha THR10 both have a built-in USB audio interface, for easy recording to a computer. And, a copy of Cubase AI software is bundled with each model.
