I purchased this item about a year ago to add just an step of tone to my sound as my DS2 and MT1 were just too much for the soul band I had just joined, I thought of it as a stepping stone to get to slight bit of drive and then go to other pedals for lead playing, I was right and then discovered I was so wrong! My initial plan was working but after a bit of time sweeping the full range of each dial I soon realized how wrong I was, I had underestimated this pedal...a lot. This thing does everything! Used in conjunction with a switchable clean / drive amp you can achieve any sound you’re looking for! It will add a light drive akin to BB king to deep swelled overdrive like Jimmy H. and all points in-between. I play Soul/ Mow-town / blues / funk and use this pedal for different songs from all genres. It has become the most used pedal on my board,
