The controller is also fully plug-and-playable, meaning there is no need to install drivers and you don’t need an external power source as it is powered by the iPad, iPhone or computer it is connected to.

Controls

Although laid out simply the Line 6 Mobile Keys 25 Controller Keyboard offers all the controls you need to show off your sound. Tone can be controlled with the Pitch and Mod wheels, Volume and Pan knobs, and Octave Up/Down buttons to switch registers. The Shift button also opens up functions such as Transpose, MIDI Channel, Program Change, Velocity Curve and Controller Assign.

Connections

All the necessary connections to make music with your chosen device are included on the Line 6 Mobile Keys 25 Keyboard Controller. Along with a USB jack, a special jack for connection to the 30-pin jack on your iPad or iPhone dock connector are a 1/4" TRS sustain pedal jack and a 1/4" TRS expression pedal jack. The keyboard controller also comes supplied with a special 3-foot (1-meter) cable for connecting your iPad/iPhone.
