On top of its battery-powered operation you get a built-in speaker and a new sensory clip that can turn any object you can attach it to into an instrument. It’s also packed to the hilt with 100 sounds, 100 rhythm patterns and 10 effects.

100 Sounds

Although small in stature the Korg WaveDrum Mini is crammed with 100 sounds. The selection is diverse; with acoustic drum sounds and tuned percussion to bass guitar and other stringed instruments. Everything’s there for you to play both rhythmic and melodic parts from one instrument.

10 Built-in Effects

The Korg Wave Drum Mini offers a good selection of built-in effects (10 in all) of different types: spatial, modern, and distortion. To give you an idea of what effects are on offer you have delay, chorus, and reverb (spatial), filters and pitch-shifters (modern), and analog-style warmth delivered by the distortion effects.

100 Rhythm Patterns

With 100 rhythm patterns at your fingertips the Korg WaveDrum Mini Percussion Synthesiser has you set for a good range of genres and styles. Use them to jam along to or to keep your own rhythm steady. Combine the Korg WaveDrum Mini’s pad and sensor clip with a rhythm and you’ve got yourself a 3-piece performance.

Expressive Pad Surface

Just as an acoustic drum, the Korg WaveDrum Mini Synthesiser responds to the part of its surface you hit and the amount of force you put into your strikes. Nothing is left to chance, ensuring you can apply drumming techniques you would on an acoustic to the pad, with the same results.

Dynamic Sensor Clip

As previously mentioned the Korg WaveDrum Mini comes supplied with a sensory clip, which, when attached to any surface, acts an additional drum input. It really is that simple. Portability

The Korg WaveDrum Mini Dynamic Percussion Synthesiser is built for portability, which is why, although it comes supplied with an AC adaptor it can also be battery-powered. Also the built-in speaker makes it easy to pickup and play without any complicated setup, although there is a ¼” jack output if you wish to hook the Korg WaveDrum Mini up to something a little more powerful. There’s also a headphone output for those of you who are a little shy or don’t wish to feel the wrath of the neighbours.
