Utilising dual 7 mil Mylar for quick decay and a warm attack, Remo Coated Pinstripe Drumheads are popular within pop, rock, R&B and many other styles of music. These heads are notably popular with drummers wanting a “fat” sound out of their drum kit.
Currently used by Shannon Leto of 30 Seconds to Mars, Remo Coated Pinstripe Drumheads provide a low pitched tone that has a surprisingly warm response. A layer of ring reducing agent is applied between the two 7 mil Mylar plies which dampens some high overtones which produces a warmer tone that sits well in mixes, both live and recorded, without being too tonally broad and without sound dull and lifeless, a perfect middle ground.
Remo Coated Pinstripe Drumheads are a great choice for live or recording use. This batter model is for use on snares and toms, bass drum variants are also available.
