With the TD-30 being the first of Roland’s digital drum kits to offer SuperNATURAL sounds and Behaviour Modelling it has paved the way for the mid-range Roland TD-15KV V-Tour to feature the same, in a more compact and affordable kit

TD-15 Sound Module with SuperNATURAL

The brains of the Roland TD-15KV V-Drums Electronic Drum Kit comes in the form of the new TD-15 Drum Sound Module, which is powered by Roland’s SuperNATURAL sound engine. This addition provides amazing expressiveness and professional operation, while the Behaviour Modelling Technology improves precision and gives more natural sounds.

Alongside this the Roland TD-15KV V-Drums Electronic Drum Kit’s sound module provides a number of practice aids such as the “Time Check,” “Quiet Count,” and “Warm Ups” exercises as well as the QUICK REC, which allows you to, as the name suggests, quickly record your performance and play it back to review.

Pads & Triggers

Offering advanced dual-trigger sensors, metal rim hoops, tensionable heads, and compact casings the Roland TD15KV Drum Kit utilises the lightweight 10" mesh head PDX-100 V-Pads for the snare and floor tom. These can also be positioned in a way that suits you with their dual-mounting capability.

Giving you a more natural sound and expressiveness that was previously unavailable at this price the Roland TD-15KV V-Tour Electronic Drum Kit features PD-85BK 8" dual-zone V-Pads for the toms. Dual-triggering technology gives accurate head to rim sensing, while, used in conjunction with the new TD-15 Drum Sound Module, the sound of rim shots will change with the exertion you put into your stroke. More than capable of taking a hammering these pads are built tough, but still look cool with their black finish and chrome brackets.

The VH-11 floating hi-hat supplied with the Roland TD 15KV V-Drums Electronic Drum Kit offers the feel of its acoustic equivalent, they even mount to a conventional hi-hat stand. Comprised of one floating cymbal pad atop a fixed lower base the VH-11 is fast to set up and easy to move around.

Giving accurate triggering and a natural swing, the Roland TD-15KV V-Drums Electronic Drum Kit comes armed with a CY-12C for the Crash, which along with being perfectly weighted and with just the right amount of sensitivity has a choke control.

The Roland TD-15KV V-Tour Electronic Drum Kit also comes with a CY-13R for the ride, with its enlarged bow area and 3-way triggering for the edge, bow and bell.

The improved KD-9 provides a fantastic mechanism and cloth-designed bass drum head, which together provide great playability and dynamic response, even when using a double pedal.

MDS-9V drum stand

Easy to set up and install the Roland TD-15KV V-Drums Electronic Drum Kit features the MDS-9V. This four-legged drum stand features ball clamps to adjust cymbal arms/snare mounts, and a tilt for the hi-hat mount arm. The position of the cymbals and toms can also be positioned to suit you.
