The Electro Harmonix Ravish Sitar transforms your electric guitar into a great sounding sitar with sympathetic string drones, scales, keys, modulation, lead sitar voice tracks notes polyphonically (and features selectable decay). The lead voice can also be pitch bent using an expression pedal (not included) and use another expression pedal to control the volume of the sympathetic drone. Seperate level controls for all voices, plus secondary Sympathetic Only output.
This device is incredibly well geared up for real performance, enabling independent mixing and featuring 9 user presets so you can always be prepared for the gig. Scale settings include Sharp, Major, Minor and Exotic, which changes how the sympathetic drones behave and for greater control create custom scales. Whether studying Indian classical music, playing fusion music or simply wanting to create unusual sonorities, this pedal offers a very flexible and musical solution to sitar emulation.
