With its timeless and revered design, outstanding choice of materials and robust construction, the Limited Edition Epiphone EJ-160E Electro Acoustic Guitar remains one of the most popular choices for acoustic players of all genres. Complete with a stacked P-100 pickup, spruce top and SlimTaper neck, the EJ-160E was designed to deliver the best results.
Select tone woods
The Limited Edition EJ-160E comes complete with a solid spruce top to delver a fast and precise tone which will produce loads of high end snap when required. This works in tandem with the mahogany back and sides for beautifully warm mid-range and smooth lower notes. The resulting combination gives the EJ-160E a beautiful acoustic foundation should you wish to use it without amplification.
The neck of the EJ-160E is also crafted from mahogany, Glued-In with a dovetail joint and shaped to a SlimTaper, late 60s D profile that will give you hours of playing comfort whilst you glide up and down the rosewood fingerboard. The neck is finished off with pearloid trapezoid inlays and 20 medium profile frets.
Discreet, powerful amplification
There are no unsightly electronics on the Epiphone EJ-160E. Instead, you get a subtle, low-profile Stacked P-100 at end of fingerboard designed to capture in perfect clarity the characteristic of both string and body so that you get a perfect representation of the EJ-160E through your amplification of choice.
Master tone and volume controls are present in the form of top hats with metal inserts and pointers that sit neatly along the edge of the body, well clear of the strings. This beautiful simple design not only looks very neat but also gives a simple, clear signal path for a very pure tone.
Finally, to top off this spectacular guitar, the Epiphone EJ-160E Electro Acoustic comes with nickel hardware, 18:1 ratio deluxe machine heads, a rosewood reverse belly bridge and body binding to complete the clean modest look. The Limited Edition Epiphone EJ-160E Electro Acoustic Guitar is a thing of beauty and will not fail to captivate and impress anyone who plays it.
