The Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO is a guitar that is definitely dressed to impress. Built using classic Les Paul construction techniques -mahogany back and sides with a maple top - and including some welcome modern appointments, this is an awesome model that offers peerless tonal versatility. If you're looking for a savvy guitar that plays well and sounds great, then this fine model is what you're looking for.

Based on the Les Paul tonewood template that was established in the 1950s, the Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO adheres closely to the rules. This model features the customary mahogany back and sides, providing a solid mid to low-end character with incredible warmth. Paired with the mahogany is a bright-sound maple veneer top, balancing out the low-end and providing a crisp and articulate sharpness that ensures the tone sparkles every time.

Using traditional techniques, a sturdy mahogany neck is glued-in to the body, providing the perfect playing support, increasing sustain and improving overall tonality. The neck has been shaped to the popular 1960's SlimTaper D profile, allowing it to rest nicely in the hand to create a very comfortable playing feel. Married to the neck is a sumptuous rosewood fingerboard that is adorned with pearloid block inlays. Every single one of the medium jumbo 22 frets will guarantee definition and clarity throughout every performance.

Coil-tapping is something that hasn't always been seen on Les Paul guitars but, thanks to the inclusion of the technology on the Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO, you can get a great deal more out of this guitar. Epiphone's take on P.A.F. humbuckers, ProBuckers, are installed with wiring that allows access to single coil tones which are great for clean or distorted playing. The versatility on offer here is staggering; from crisp cleans to roaring lead tones, you have all bases covered to take on any genre you could imagine.

Epiphone have used the finest quality hardware to ensure that the playability of the Custom PRO is of the highest-standard possible. LockTone's Tune-o-matic bridge and Stoptail are employed so that the connection between the strings and body is as seamless as possible - again to improve sustain and playability. Grover tuners hold tuning steadfast no matter how aggressively or enthusiastically you rock out. The black tophat control knobs feel smooth as you dial in the setting you want, a must for making quick changes on the fly.

Of course the luxury of the Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO is multiplied several times over when you see the effort that has been put into the finishing details. The striking TV Silver finish is complimented beautifully by the 5-layer top and back body binding. A single-layer of binding continues along the fretboard and the headstock has even been treated to 5-layer binding. The headstock carries a "Split-Diamond" inlay along with a truss cover bearing the "Les Paul Custom PRO" detail in white.

Whatever level you're at, whatever style of music you play, you'd find it difficult to find a fault with this truly stunning instrument. Epiphone have gone to incredible length to create an instrument that is ready for the studio or stage. The Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO in TV Silver has it all, don't miss out on your chance to own one of these remarkable guitars.
