Description

Details

The Epiphone Les Paul Studio Worn Cherry is a rough and ready, no frills version of its bigger brother, with a mahogany body and a set mahogany neck, it feels comfortable and packs a punch.

Versatile and comfortable

If it's a flexible double humbucker guitar you need, and you do not need all the aesthetic appointments, then the Epiphone Les Paul Studio Worn Cherry is the guitar for you. This guitar has been made to look and sound as a Les Paul should, with all the character and tonal versatility that you could wish for, happily covering many musical styles including Blues, Ska, Reggae and Rock.

The Epiphone Les Paul Studio Worn Cherry is as stripped back as you can get, with its Worn Cherry finish, open coil pickups and chrome hardware it looks as good as it sounds. The 2 Alnico magnet humbuckers give a fat, but clear noiseless sound, the Pickups are housed in a mahogany body with a carved top, and finished with a stop bar tailpiece, all these together give you that great, thick Les Paul sustain.

Beautiful and reliable

This is truly a stunning guitar, not only is it drop dead gorgeous and it has that great double humbucker sound, it most importantly feels great, it has a set mahogany heck with a rosewood fingerboard, and is slightly slimmer body than its bigger brother.

Although this is a scaled down, stripped down version, it is most certainly a quality instrument, capturing the essence of a Les Paul without the frills.

Customer Reviews
VERY versatile, VERY cool, VERY good looking
Posted on 07/10/2012 by Pudall This guitar sounds perfect in every genre from early jazz to thrash metal. It is light so when I gig it my shoulder can stand it and it constantly has a warm tone. Even on a metal setting, it's warm which I really like, others might not. The action can be adjusted to REALLY low and intonation is easy to adjust. This guitar is a bargain no questions asked, the quality of a good Gibson with the price of an Epiphone. Perfect.
amazing
Posted on 07/07/2012 by stacey This guitar is brilliant! I bought it for my son for his birthday and he can’t stop playing it. We bought him lessons too and it’s perfect!
