The ESP E-II series are Japanese built models, crafted by ESP luthiers and designed for musicians who're looking for high-end models at a more affordable price. The ESP E-II FRX FM electric guitar is the stuff of legend; the true embodiment of a metal axe. There is no hiding quietly on the sidelines with this absolute beast in your hands; you're guaranteed to be seen and heard.
The awesome body of the E-II FRX is built from a combination of powerful mahogany - producing that dense, thick low-end driving force and sustain - and luxurious flamed maple - responsible for reigning in the mahogany by allowing the mid to upper frequency range to be heard loud and clear. The body boasts a see thru black sunburst finish, which is a sumptuous feast for the eyes. The body shape is a radical design that is absolutely stunning, but the raw power within exudes perfectly through the slick curves and edging detail.
To ensure the power within the body doesn't take over the tonal palette, a brightly articulate maple neck keeps it in check. Atop the neck is a luxurious ebony fingerboard that is hope to 24 J-size frets, begging to be played hard and fast. The thin U contoured neck profile allows you to play with absolute precision, making the neck very easy to navigate and an unparalleled joy to play.
As if you didn't know already from the striking aesthetic, the E-II FRX means business. Fitted in the neck and bridge positions respectively are the EMG 89R and EMG 89 dual-mode pickups. Each pickup features a coil-tap that allows you to switch between single-coil and humbucking modes. Both pickups feature that all-important Alnico V magnet, responsible for producing punishing tones. Each pickup has a separate preamp that provides unique outputs for the single-coil and humbucking modes. The 89R is the same as the 89 but fitted in reverse so that the single-coil is closest to the neck to produce a much sweeter tone. Whatever style you play - from jazz to metal - these pickups will deliver the tone you want every time.
The original Floyd Rose bridge, allowing you to create a mesmerizingly individual sound, endorses extreme creativity. The Floyd Rose is very easy to use, and only your own imagination will be able to hold you back with this work of art in your hands.
Tough and ever-reliable Gotoh tuners ensure that tuning integrity is upheld without fail. Schaller security lock strap buttons means that no matter what you throw at the FRX it can take all that you've got.
The ESP E-II FRX electric guitar is metaller's dream come to life. If you want a guitar that reflects your attitude through its looks and tone, then this is for you. If you want a guitar that will keep up with you on stage and in the studio, then look no further. If you want all this and a hardcase to put it in, then you'll even get one of them too!
