Construction

The ESP LTD M10 uses basswood, a lightweight but tonally sound wood, for the wonderfully shaped body of the instrument which allows for increased upper fret access. This creates a natural, even tone with a pronounced but not over-the-top mid range. Maple is the wood of choice for the neck, known for providing a smooth and playable surface that is especially fantastic for learning new techniques on. The rosewood fingerboard adds to this appeal as it's a wonderful wood for this purpose. Together, the two woods work exceptionally well together for great tone and feel.

ESP provide their own hardware for the ESP LTD M 10. This includes high quality tuners that will help keep your tuning stable during practice and your first gigs should run smoothly thanks to the fixed bridge, also made by ESP. The bridge also features a string-thru-body design which increases sustain and overall tonality thanks to the increased contact with the guitars body.

Electronics

Two ESP LH-100 humbuckers are on offer on this guitar. These pickups, while made by ESP, are great at obtaining all sorts of tones depending on the kind of effects you add to the signal chain. They work especially well under distortion but also shine under clean and crunch settings. The ESP LTD M-10 is therefore a versatile electric guitar suitable for many styles of music.
