Carefully selected woods
The Farida A62CE has premium solid tone woods at the heart of it's build. The top is solid cedar which sits upon the solid mahogany back and sides. The Auditorium cutaway body shape of the A62CE delivers exceptional comfort and the ability to easily reach the higher frets without any loss of tonal depth.
The neck is created from select mahogany and is home to the rosewood fingerboard containing the unique, pearloid side-dot positional inlays amongst the 20 frets. The headstock shows off the Farida branding above the die-cast gold tuners that offer superb tuning and sustain as well as adding to the cosmetic appeal of the A62CE.
Hidden pickup system
For a guitar that is capable of producing such a delicious tone, an equally capable pickup system is needed to ensure faithful recreation when sending to any amplification. With this in mind, the Farida A62CE comes with a built in Fishman PreSys Blend electronic system.
With this pickup and control panel, you have total control over bass, middle and treble. You also have a built in tuner and control over phase and mic-blend. You have the power to make the tone as subtle or as forceful as you need.

Farida A62 = nice

I must admit, I've only ever seen these Farida guitars in the Dawsons giveaways and not really considered them as (lets face it) the low-mid price sector is currently flooded with good quality guitars from the Far East that don't cost a lot of money. But having an hour or so spare before my train and having passed the shop, I thought I'd give one a spin. I must admit, I was very pleasantly surprised. A nice rich sound straight from the word go with plenty of note separation and clarity. OK, it's not a Martin or a Taylor, but for the price of one of them, you could get half of the Farida range! When I start open mic nights again, I'll be back to see which one of the Farida range best suits my style and I won't mind covering it in battle scars!

I bought this guitar a year ago as an intermediate guitarist, and it's a real beauty. It has a crisp but warm tone and has great playability. I've learnt an awful lot on this guitar already, and from a singer-songwriter point of view, the cutaway and lightweight build makes it a comfortable and versatile option. Even to look at, its matt finish and mother of pearl rosette still sets you apart from other guitarists. It has a large range of volumes too, from loud, energetic strumming to soft and gentle fingerpicking; it retains its lovely tone. At the other extreme, I plugged this guitar into an amp and turned up the gain, and this thing can knock out Smells Like Teen Spirit like a dream! Great for a big rock fan like me that doesn’t have the cash for an electric guitar yet. Quite simply a fantastic guitar that I know will last me a lifetime. Don't hesitate.
