Features

  • Farida's most affordable electro-acoustic
  • Dreadnought cutaway
  • Laminated Sitka Spruce top
  • Laminated mahogany back and sides
  • Mahogany neck
  • Sonokelin fingerboard
  • Fishman classic 4 preamp

The D12ce is Farida's entry-level Dreadnought electro, and is designed with the same easy playability, stunning sounds, and top-notch quality as the Farida D-8. The D12ce may indeed be an entry-level guitar, but from first to last strum, you'll hardly even notice.

Perfect for the new guitarist, or for the electric guitarist new to acoustics, the D12ce has a slim low action neck and lightweight body, complete with cutaway for upper fret access. Electronically this model is equipped with an under saddle piezo pick-up system which feeds directly into a Fishman powered pre-amp. The three band graphic EQ allows the player to tailor their own plugged-in sound directly from the guitar, ideal for the gigging musician.

I recently purchased this guitar at the Reading branch of Dawsons having phoned ahead to reserve. It's a good guitar, strong wood on all sides and a dreadnought cutaway. Also, it has the electric feature which is good for electric guitarists coming to acoustic, like myself, or if you just want to play loud!

Overall, good product and especially useful for beginners to the guitar.
