The Farida D16N12 Dreadnought 12 String Acoustic Guitar is modelled on the D16 6 string, but with all the tonal range of a true 12 string guitar. Built with a classic dreadnought profile using a combination of top quality woods, the D16N12 produces a clear, full-bodied sound with plenty of volume.

The Farida D16N12 has a solid Englemann spruce top and is partnered by laminated rosewood making up the back and sides. The guitar has a solid construction which is built to withstand a lot of playing. By employing spruce for the body top it enables the guitar to project a generous sound output through its classic dreadnought profile. Laminated rosewood further enhances the guitar's ability to produce a bright, acoustic timbre, which works fantastically well with its dreadnought body shape.

The D16N12 is fitted with a three piece, full scale mahogany neck which promotes a smooth, fast playing feel. The neck is comfortable to grip while it has a reassuring, strong construction.

Aboard the neck is a wider 20-fret rosewood fingerboard at your service for you to enjoy. The frets are decorated with snowflake inlays to guide you from one to the next with confidence.

Farida have fitted this 12 string acoustic guitar with a rosewood bridge and compensated ABS saddle, holding a firm connection between the strings and body. Chrome diecast tuning machines sit at the headstock, upholding tuning integrity with precision for each of the 12 strings.

Complementing the guitar's natural finish is a protective pickguard as well as black and white body binding and soundhole rosette.

To ensure that the guitar is kept in the best possible condition, Farida include a branded lockable hardcase, so you can take it out on the road and be sure that it will remain protected.

Customer Reviews
Great sound!!
Posted on 29/01/2012 by Pauljo Got this back in August last year and I'm completely over the moon with it, as it gives the nicest sound I could hope for.
Worth the money you spend; the hard case included was just a bonus. I couldn't be happier and recommend it to anyone who wants a good, reliable 12-string for a good price.
