The Farida J-FT Frank Turner Signature is the first of Farida's new 'Artist Designed' range of guitars to land in the UK, designed in conjunction with Folk-Punk hero, Frank Turner.
'Frank said he wanted a Jumbo cutaway with a great low-end' say Farida, 'and he particularly liked the Fishman Rare Earth Humbucker pick-up'. 'From there we got to work on the basic design, tonewoods, bracing pattern etc, and worked through details like the logo and binding with him as we went along'.
The result is one of the finest guitars this award winning brand have produced to date, and with this model being limited to a release of just twenty-five guitars worldwide, the Farida J-FT Frank Turner Signature looks likely to be one of 2012's most sought after guitars.
'When I handed him the guitar he had exactly the same response to it as I did' says Sam Salisbury of Farida UK, 'as well as being stunning to look at it just sounded amazing straight out of the case, such a clear bass response'. 'He couldn't stop playing it, if fact he wrote a new riff on it right there, he was playing up in the balcony of an empty Manchester Apollo ahead of his sold out show that night, and it sounded absolutely massive!'.
Frank was so impressed with the guitar it went straight into his live set that night and has been played every night since.
