The combination of solid Engelmann Spruce soundboard and all solid Mahogany back and sides creates a perfectly balanced acoustic ideal for fingerpicking or strumming styles, while the Grand Auditorium body shape is incredibly comfortable and lends its own naturally balanced equalisation to the finished sound. The B-Band A1.2 pick-up system captures this natural tone perfectly, maintaining the integrity of the acoustic tone.
Perhaps the most outstanding thing about this model however is the price, to find an-all solid electro model of this quality, at this price is simply unheard of.

Beautifully made and plays like a dream

This is a beautiful guitar that is unbelievably good value for money. The solid woods are of an exceptionally high standard for a guitar at this price point, and have been expertly crafted in the building of a guitar that plays and sounds like a guitar of triple it's value, and more.
Before buying this, I'd tried Taylors, Martins, Gibsons, Tanglewoods and Yamahas but pound for pound the R52E by Farida is without a doubt the wisest investment I could have made.
The guitar benefits from a lovely slim neck profile and whilst the string spacing won't be to everyone's taste it's perfect for me as I tend to concentrate on strumming and this guitar delivers a solid and impressive tonal range and volume. It's also got a beautiful tone when fingerpicking, although I'm hardly Tommy Emmanuel! The B-Band A1.2 pickup is brilliant. It delivers a nice clean sound and is so discrete that when I first opened the case I thought I might have been sent the purely acoustic version.
The guitar came in a lockable hard case, which is of a much higher quality than I imagined it would be. Overall, this is a wonderful purchase and I've yet again been delighted by the service I received from Dawsons Music. Thanks Team Dawsons!
