Fender’s 2010 American Deluxe Precision Bass delivers the modern features that bassists demand, with a newly designed preamp circuit that delivers deeply exhilarating active and passive tone. Powerful-yet-quiet N3 noiseless pickups present more clean headroom and EQ range than ever, and even more sublime tonal options come from the active/passive switch and passive tone control.
One of only two finishes in this series with a Maple neck, the Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass in Black can achieve a great variety of tones thanks to the modern electronics that are on-board. The circuitry in this top of the range bass is switchable between active and passive modes, a highly valuable feature not often seen on bass guitars. This, along with the passive tone system can be used for such a huge range of tones, you’ll be truly shocked at how much this could be used for. Higher fret access has also been considered with the Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass, with a further contoured heel letting you play all over the neck with ease.
