Beautiful tone, endless sustain, perfect low action - I can't fault it.

This guitar is not only a beautiful piece of musical history it also sounds sublime. I don't know if I was just incredibly lucky with mine or if they all sound this good but your standard USA Tele is just not musically as good as this instrument. What can I say other than try one and listen for yourself - compare one against the other in the shop - same amp, same settings and see if I'm wrong - I love this guitar!

Finally took the plunge today and bought my first Telecaster. Went with an open mind, looked at standards, Squier Classic Vibe and the Baja. Only one winner for me, the Baja. Absolutely stunning guitar both the finish and sound. Had it at home for half an hour and managed to nail Status Quo and the Stones through a Blackstar HT5 R Head and cab. Really pleased with it. Special thanks to Dawsons staff, (especially Alan for his patience!!). Really happy with the guitar.

I own five other telecasters, all of which have their own high and low points.
The Baja's construction and finish are flawless, and the set-up was spot on. Intonation is not an issue with mine. With the three-saddle bridge, it can be a challenge, but it's part of the telecaster sound.
The 4-way switch adds additional tone choices and adds a fairly robust sounding out-of-phase middle position. The S1 switch is simply magical. It makes the pickups growl just a little bit without colouring the tone needlessly. This is quickly becoming my number one guitar, and I'm scared the others will get jealous.

One of the best guitars you could have. One downside is the intonation but this can easily be solved. Good for all types of music.

Love this guitar. I had a go for many-a-week in-store, and now I own one. Smashing!
