At the top of the California Series the Fender Kingman SCE Electro Acoustic is a vintage-style guitar that encompasses the Fender SoCal lifestyle with unique looks, great playability and mellow beach tones.
Body
The combination of a dreadnought body shape with a solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and laminated mahogany sides gives the Fender Kingman SCE guitar amazing projection with a rich mellow tone. The cutaway design also gives easy access to the upper frets and complimenting the body perfectly is a new-shape gold pickguard.
Neck
In-line with the California Series the Fender Kingman SCE Electro Acoustics neck is constructed from maple with a "C" shape profile for comfort and a dual action truss rod for stability. A 20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with white pearloid block position inlays tops this, and a Strat headstock sits at its top.
Enhancing volume and clarity the Fender Kingman SCE Guitar has a vintage-style rosewood Fender “Viking” bridge with compensated bone saddle and bone nut.
Electronics
Although already loud thanks to its dreadnought shape and a great combination of woods the Fender Kingman SCE Electro Acoustic can also be hooked up to an amp thanks to the Fishman Presys Pickup System.
Along with giving you control over your volume you also get sound-shaping options in the form of bass, mid, treble & body (mid-sweep) controls. The Fishman Presys Pickup System also loads the Fender Kingman SCE up with a built-in tuner.
Finishing Touches
Completing the aesthetics of the Fender Kingman SCE Electro Acoustic are all-chrome tuners, a checkerboard soundhole rosette and multiple body bindings.
