The Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar LH is a fantastic replica of a guitar that changed rock history. Nirvana's music has resonated with the alienated and misunderstood youth cultures of a whole generation, and continues to inspire those who don't fit the mold today. This guitar has been released to mark the 10th anniversary of Kurt's acquisition of the original guitar, which he used during the recording of seminal Nirvana album Nevermind, which brought the hits 'Lithium', 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', 'Come as You Are' and more into the world.

Meticulous attention has been paid to the wear details including a worn secion on the back of the guitar, that was worn down by Kurt's belt while he played. The electronics are also designed to replicate the original, with dual humbuckers, unique electronics and controls. The pickups in the new Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar are a DiMarzio humbucking DP103 PAF 36th Anniversary neck pickup and DP100 Super Distortion bridge pickup, which create perfect grunge tones and offer plenty of flexibility. Other controls include the triple knurled “chrome-dome” knob configuration (volume-volume-tone) and three-position toggle switch plus tuning stability and style from the black chrome Adjusto-Matic bridge and Gotoh sealed tuners. The guitar has been faithfully re-produced as a left-handed model and worked into a right handed version, so that all players can experience playing Kurt Cobain's guitar and pay hommage to the man and the legend.

There will never be another Kurt Cobain, but his music will live on forever and his bandmates Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl have continued to do great things, despite suffering such a major loss at such an important time in their lives. This excellent piece of craftmenship is Fender's way of paying their respects to Kurt.
