Fender Redondo CE Electro Acoustic Guitar - Natural

With the looks of the original ’68 model and the sound of late sixties American Summer resonating through its body the Fender Redondo is back and looking good. The latest addition to the California series has all the unique features of the series along with the beach tone that has made them so popular.

Body

A tight dreadnought cutaway body provides excellent projection with easy access to the upper frets. With a spruce top and mahogany back & sides the Fender Redondo CE Cutaway Electro Acoustic also has a laid back, mellow tone with enough bite to be heard over the crackling of the campfire. The body's multiple binding offsets the woods nicely and continues along the neck.

Neck

The neck on the Fender Redondo CE Cutaway Electro Acoustic has been constructed from maple with a dual-action truss rod in place for strength and support. With a vintage “C” profile the guitar is really comfortable to play, even for those used to an electric guitar. This is topped by rosewood fingerboard with 22-frets and white dot inlays.

Finishing Touches

The guitar features Fenders vintage-style “Viking” rosewood bridge with a compensated-saddle for improved volume and clarity, as well as visual appeal. Also keeping the Fender Redondo CE acoustic guitar looking good is a checkerboard rosette encircling the soundhole, gold 3-ply pickguard, classic Strat headstock and chrome hardware.

Electronics

Bring a portable amp with you to the beach or campsite and you can plug the Fender Redondo CE Electro Acoustic in to really get things going, thanks to the Fishman IsysIII pickup system with active onboard preamp.

Not only does this give you the option of increased volume but also the ability to shape your tone with the onboard bass, mid and treble controls. There is even a built-in tuner and a low battery indicator, so you don’t get caught out.
