Celebrating over 60 years of guitar making prowess Fender have decided to show off their expertise with the Select range. With its elegant tone woods, beautifully playable neck and Select pickups the Fender Select Telecaster is an excellent example of what Fender are capable of.

Body

Great care has been taken with the guitar that made their name, the Telecaster. A new direction for the first solid body guitar the Fender Select Telecaster has been treated to a highly resonant, lightweight honeycomb-chambered ash body with a solid flame maple top. This has been finished with a striking Violin Burst gloss-lacquer, which complements the 3-Ply (Parchment/Black/Parchment) pickguard beautifully.

Neck

A piece of art in itself the Fender Select Telecaster has a comfortable modern “C” birdseye maple neck with a contoured heel. The Bi-Flex truss rod system keeps every thing stable and the back of the headstock features a “Fender Select” medallion. While the back of the neck is satin lacquered, the front is topped by a matching 9.5"-14" compound radius gloss lacquer finished birdseye maple fingerboard with 22 frets and black pearloid inlays.

Electronics

The famed Tele pickups have been updated to Fender Select Telecaster single-coils at the neck and bridge to provide crisp, Tele sound. Pickup control is afforded by a classic 3-position switchblade, a master volume control knob and a no-load tone control knob, which provides uncoloured sound even up when the bridge pickup is cranked all the way up.

Finishing Touches

Finishing off the Fender Select Telecaster is as American Telecaster bridge with American Standard bent steel saddles and stamped brass plate, knurled chrome knobs, deluxe staggered cast/sealed locking tuners and gold hardware.

The Fender Select Telecaster also comes with a custom G&G Fender Select case, strap, cable and polishing cloth.
