When it comes to electric guitars the Strat is one of THE guitars. One of Fender’s most iconic models, the Strat is the model everyone has heard of; from the little kid down the road who wants to be a rock star, to your granny who remembers when they came out, and may have even seen the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Mark Knopler playing one.
The Fender Standard Stratocaster Plus Top Electric Guitar gives you the chance to own a piece of history, with all the classic styling and famous tone, but the addition of a flame maple top on the alder body adds a little finesse to the model’s usual spec’s and it is looking even more resplendent being juxtaposed by a three-ply parchment pickguard.
The Fender Standard Stratocaster Plus Top also features a classic Strat neck, constructed from maple, and carved to the modern c-shape profile, along with having a satin urethane finish increasing playability. Atop this is a 21-medium jumbo fretted, 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard, with white dot inlays, lying between a synthetic bone nut and a vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge.
Of course giving voice to the Fender Standard Stratocaster Plus Top is a set of three standard single-coil Strat pickups, accompanied by a five-way pickup selector, and a master volume & two tone control knobs.
