Body
The Fender Villager 12 String Electro Acoustic Guitar features a tight dreadnought body shape with a solid spruce top (with scalloped X bracing) and mahogany back & sides to give a guitar that has great projection and clarity with a laid back, mellow tone. The cutaway design gives access to the upper frets and the spruce is matched with a 3-ply gold pickguard.
Neck
Comfortable and fast playing the soft "C" shaped neck on the Fender Villager 12 String Guitar is perfect for electric players who want a familiar-feeling 12-string acoustic, whilst also being great for acoustic players who play fast. The neck has a dual action truss rod in place for stability and is topped by a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. Of course at the top of the neck is the vintage Fender Villager headstock.
Increasing the volume and clarity of the Fender Villager 12 String Electro Acoustic Guitar is a vintage-style “Viking” rosewood bridge with a compensated bone saddle and a bone nut.
Electronics
With the Fishman Isys III System with Active On-Board Pre-Amp and Tuner you can take all the Fender Villager 12 String Guitars natural projection and clarity and amplify it without losing the voice of the guitar along the way. In addition to volume control the Fishman Isys III System also gives you extra sound-shaping options in the shape of bass, mid and treble controls. Also in place are a built-in chromatic tuner and a low battery indicator.
