Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 USB Audio Interface

Designed with home studio applications in mind, the Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 USB Audio Interface is an 8 in/6 out USB audio interface featuring two high quality mic preamps. Also included is a software bundle designed to work seamlessly with your chosen DAW.

Focusrite are well known for the quality of their preamps, having won awards for them in the past. Two of them plus a range of other connectivity options are present on the Focusrite Scarlett 8i6. Two additional ¼” jack inputs and four ¼ jack outputs are also present on the back of the unit alongside S/PDIF and MIDI connectors. The front XLR/1/4” Jack combo connectors can also be used as Hi-Z inputs to directly connect instruments such as guitar or bass without DI boxes. Additionally, easily accessible ¼” headphone out and volume/gain controls are on the front panel to make recording with this unit a better experience.

Several software packages are included, firstly the Scarlett Mix Control 18 x 6 DSP Mixer. This allows you to route signals in and out of the interface and computer for maximum flexibility. Any channel from the Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 or any output from your computers music software can be routed to any of the outputs available to create up to six individual mixes.

A range of plug ins is also included with the Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 in the Scarlett plug-in suite. Compression, reverb, gating and EQ plug ins come in all of the most popular formats (VST/AU/RTAS) to help add a professional touch to your home recordings.

The final piece of bundled software with the Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 is the Xcite+ bundle. Consisting of Ableton Live Lite, Novation Bass Station software synth and more than 1GB of royalty free samples provided by Loopmasters which you can use as you wish within your music.
